Review: House of Beth by Kerry Cullen

I've been reading a lot of house-related books this month I guess? I read House of Leaves too, and between that and Hot Wax I keep accidentally calling everything House of Wax 🤦🏻‍♀️

REVIEW:

This was an incredible debut novel!! I am so so happy I had a chance to read this early thanks to Simon Books and Kerry Cullen!

House of Beth is weird and atmospheric and messy, and I adored every second of it. It was a struggle to pull away from the page at work this week.

Every character in this book is a mess, except maybe the kids, and I was thoroughly entertained, albeit a little freaked out. I especially loved the unlikely pairing between some of the characters, who outside of their specific situation seemed like they may not fit well together.

I won't say too much else, you'll just have to read it for yourself :)
